First I would like to commend you for publishing such a great paper at an reasonable price. Secondly, after reading the article about local pastors requesting the third week of April to be observed for Jesus, I am even more compelled to write to you and suggest that the "Link" reserve space in the newspaper for people of the community to share their testimonials about how their faith in Jesus has turned their lives around or maybe someone would like to recognize the progress of the Church's in the community. Pastors have a huge responsibility to the community and play a big role in the spiritual and physical well being of individuals who make up our communities, but their work is often overlooked and disregarded. Personally I've noticed that even within the business community senior citizens, police officers, teachers, even students of excellence are awarded discounts, free services, and the like; though, our spiritual leaders are lucky if they are offered a free drink of water. In my opinion, as this world seems to experience different adversities; this time is the right time to encourage and support our local spiritual leaders as well; for they also protect us, teach us, inspire us, lead us, and help us in many ways that many of us cannot even begin to understand.
