Chesterfield implements changes

The lobbies of town hall and the police department will remain locked during regular business hours. Offices will remain staffed during regular business hours, and business will continue through phone or email. Appointments with town hall may be scheduled by calling (843) 623-2131, ext. 0, or (843) 623-9104.

Police officers are on patrol.

Water and sewer bills can be paid at the town’s drop boxes, by telephone at (843) 253-0809, by mail at Town of Chesterfield, PO Box 350, Chesterfield SC  29709 or online at www.nbspay.net/toc. Place the dash in your account number, for example (706300-00)

Fines and tickets can be paid by mail at Town of Chesterfield, Municipal Court, P.O. Box 350, Chesterfield SC 29709; at the town’s drop boxes or online at www.Chesterfield-sc.com. Click on the blue GOVPAYNET box on home page (near bottom of page). Enter your name, ticket number, telephone number and submit. (Example of court date 0719. Do not put the / in the number) There is a cost for using this service. Govpaynet accepts most credit and debit cards.

Public parks will remain open.

The Hut will remain open for rental; however, the host of the event is expected to comply with the latest directive on limiting the number of people in attendance.
