Clark pleads guilty

Solicitor Will Rogers has announced Christopher Cullen Clark pleaded guilty yesterday to the charge of sexual battery with a student 16 or 17 years of age, no aggravation or coercion.

This is a February 2018 Chesterfield County case. The plea was done in Marlboro County General Sessions Court before the Honorable Paul M. Burch.

Clark was sentenced to five years suspended to 30 months probation, entry on the Central Child Abuse Registry and a 10-year restraining order.

The plea was done at the request of the victim and her family. She and her family were pleased with the outcome.

The case was prosecuted by Fourth Circuit Assistant Solicitor Sam Thomas.
